After School Care

 

The primary purpose for offering "Above & Beyond Child Care," the St. John the Baptist's after school care program, is to provide high quality, Christ-centered care for families with this need.  Above & Beyond Child Care seeks to provide an educational/recreational environment conducive to learning with a balance of formal structure and imaginative free time.

 

Spiritual values will be reinforced informally through our attitudes and actions, as well as direct opportunities to work on service oriented project.  The intent of our program is to create a warm and caring atmosphere that offers a "home away from home" feel for each child who participates.

 

Days of Operation

Grades K – 8
Monday through Friday
End of school day to 5:45 pm (this includes early release days)

 

Grade 4EC
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
11:45 am - 5:45 pm

 

Activities

Based on interest there will be game tournaments, newspaper journalists, computer lab, book reading, indoor and outdoor exercise, art exploration, and involvement with homework club and other school-based functions.

 

 

 

 

 

What we like best about SJB is that we get to learn Math, Phonics, Spanish and we have a lot of books to read in our classroom.
